Judith A. Brown , M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Brown graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Psychology. She received her M.D. in New York and completed her Pediatric residency at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington D.C. She practiced Pediatrics for 3 years as the Director of Outpatient Pediatrics at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh before moving to Chicago. Dr. Brown has been with the practice since 1987 and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Brown is married with 2 children and in her spare time enjoys traveling, skiing, and golf.  Additionally she is the Chair of the Board of Directors for Special Gifts Theatre, a unique therapeutic and recreational program for special needs children.

Jonathan M. Kaufman, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Kaufman attended Colby College in Maine where he earned a B.S. with Honors in Mathematics.  He graduated from Chicago Medical School in 1985, finished his pediatric residency at the University of Illinois-Chicago and was Chief Resident during the 1988-89 academic year.  He is board certified and has been with the practice since 1989.  Dr. Kaufman is involved in community service, and has been a volunteer at the Family Health Partnership Clinic in Woodstock, IL since 1998, providing pediatric care to uninsured children. In March of 2011, he participated in a service trip to the Dominican Republic, providing health care to children and orphans and plans to make this an annual trip. Dr. Kaufman has been recognized by several organizations for his outstanding care, most recently being named to the "Best of The Fox" list of outstanding pediatricians, and named to the Chicago Magazine and U.S. News and World Report list of Top Docs in 2010 and 2011.  He is married with three children.

Michele M. Roig, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Roig attended Loyola University in Chicago. She graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Biology, minoring in chemistry and English. Dr. Roig attended Indiana University College of Medicine, receiving her M.D. in 1995 and completed her residency training at Riley Hospital for Children, Indianapolis. Dr. Roig has also done research in Physiology and Neuroanatomy. She is board certified and has been with the practice since 1998. Dr. Roig is married and has two children.

Darryl Colen, D.O., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Colen graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign with a Bachelor of Sciences degree.  He then attended medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, and finished his Pediatric residency and training at the University of South Florida in Tampa/St. Petersburg.  Dr. Colen stayed in Florida to practice Pediatrics for a few years before deciding to return home to his native Chicago.  Dr. Colen knew from a young age that he wanted to become a doctor, and his fondness of working with children made Pediatrics a very easy decision!  Dr. Colen is Board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In his free time, Dr. Colen enjoys running, softball, skiing, piano and travel.

Margaret Stefani, D.O., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Stefani attended Kenyon College in Ohio and graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Neuroscience.  She attended the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine then completed her Pediatric residency at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Stefani joined the practice in 2009 and is board certified in Pediatrics. She is married with one child. 

Patricia Giannoni, A.P.N., C.P.N.P., I.B.C.L.C.
Pat received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Xavier College in 1981. Throughout her career, she has worked in various pediatric settings. Pat was a staff nurse at Rush University Medical Center in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She was a case manager for the State of Illinois Division of Specialized Care for Children and was the Nurse Manager for the Division of Pediatrics at Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation. Pat returned to school and earned her Master of Science in the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Illinois/Chicago. She joined Pediatric Associates in 1999. Pat maintains annual certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, and became a Certified Lactation Consultant in 2005. Pat is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Illinois/Chicago and regularly precepts Pediatric Nurse Practitioner students.
